Kleinworts Hires Channel Islands Funds Head From Credit Suisse

Clive Snowdon is the new fund services head at the Channel Islands arm of Kleinwort Benson, the London-listed private bank.

As head of fund services at Kleinwort Benson, Channel Islands, Mr Snowdon will lead the fund administration, fund accounting, company secretarial and client solutions teams across Guernsey and Jersey.

Mr Snowdon joins Kleinwort from Credit Suisse in Guernsey, where he was responsible for the fund administration business. Before moving to the Channel Islands, he was chief operating officer at a Lausanne fund of funds manager Gottex, serving on the board of its flagship fund and connected entities.

Previously, he was instrumental in the start-up of two London-based hedge fund managers, Mail Capital and Bipielle International, where he was responsible for operations, finance, compliance, legal and risk.

In the early 1990s, Mr Snowdon worked in London for Mitsubishi Corporation Finance, a bond-issuing and diversified investment company subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, where he held the position of head of operations and risk control.

Kleinwort Benson operates throughout the UK from a principal office in London and branches in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, and Newbury.
